City of Calabasas Community Wildfire Protection Plan Survey.
A Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is essential for communities in high-risk wildfire areas because it helps communities proactively address the threat of wildfires by identifying hazards, prioritizing mitigation actions, and fostering collaboration between residents, agencies, and other stakeholders. Essentially, a CWPP provides a roadmap for how the City of Calabasas can protect itself from wildfires.
The City of Calabasas is currently preparing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP).
This roadmap belongs to you, the residents of Calabasas, but we need your help.
We are seeking input from community members, agencies, environmental groups, and other interested parties to help ensure the CWPP reflects the priorities and needs of Calabasas.
Please take the community wildfire survey, sign up for one of our upcoming September community workshops, and visit the project Story Map (link below) to learn more about the project.
