• The City of Calabasas Home Hardening Wildfire Resiliency Incentive Grant Program funding is contingent upon funding from the City of Calabasas.
• When the designated Program budget is exhausted, the Program will be terminated. Upon termination of the Program, incomplete applications in progress will immediately be denied.
• Eligible Grant Reimbursement Expenditures must be listed on the Home Ignition Zone Evaluation (HIZE) assessment report and related to Wildfire Mitigation and Home Hardening.
• Only one grant may be awarded per Residential Property.

• A site visit inspection of the property may be required to verify the proper installation of the completed work.

Resident will be required to email Home Evaluation HIZE Report, Receipts, and Photos
The HIZE report, all completed mitigation work receipts, and photos must be emailed to grants@calabasasfirewise.com
NOTE: The application will not be processed if this step is not completed. You will receive a confirmation email that we have received your HIZE Report, Receipts, and Photos.
Only HIZE Reports and mitigation work done after November 1, 2025, will be reimbursable.

The completion of this form does not constitute an agreement with the City of Calabasas, nor does it mean the Resident will receive the grant. It is only a stage in the application process. If a grant is awarded to the Resident, the Resident will be required to complete and sign a Home Hardening Wildfire Resiliency Incentive Grant Program Agreement.
